Eligibility for of YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme
- Gender: Female
- Community: Kapu, Balija, Telaga, or Ontari
- Age: 45 to 60 years old
- Residence: Permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh
- Annual family income: Less than Rs. 1,20,000 in rural areas and Rs. 1,44,000 in urban areas
- Landholding: Not more than 3 acres of wet land or 10 acres of dry land
- Employment: Not a government employee or pensioner
- Vehicle ownership: Not own a four-wheeler (taxis, autos, and tractors are exempted)
- Tax status: Not paying income tax
Casts like settibalija, Pusa balija, gaju balija are not eligible.

3 stages of YSR Kapu Nestam scheme, 1st stage can be done by volunteer or yourself
STAGE 1
- Visit the nearest sachivalayam in Andhra Pradesh.
- Ask for the application form for the YSR Kapu Nestam scheme. – DOWNLOAD HERE
- Fill out the application form.
- Attach the required documents.
- Submit the application form to the concerned official( WEAs / WWDS).
STAGE 2
- Volunteers / WEAs / WWDS: Conduct field verification, take eKYC, make recommendation, and forward application to MPDO/MC.
- Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) / Municipal Commissioner (MC): Receive application, verify recommendation, and forward to ED BCs.
- Executive Director of the Backward Classes Corporations (ED BCs): Verify application, make recommendation, and forward to government.
STAGE 3
- Provisional eligible list: Published in all secretariats. Citizens in the list can raise a grievance if they think the reason for ineligibility is incorrect.
- Reverification list: Published in all secretariats. Reasons for ineligibility are mentioned.
- Final list of Eligible and Ineligible Beneficiaries: Published in all secretariats. Citizens in the Final Ineligible list can raise a grievance in Citizen Schemes Portal.
- Scheme benefit: Disbursed to all eligible beneficiaries through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).
- Acknowledgment of receipt: Done by the Volunteers / WEAs / WWDS using eKYC (Biometric Authentication).
