The YSR EBC Nestham scheme is a government initiative in Andhra Pradesh that aims to provide financial assistance to women belonging to Economically Backward Classes (EBCs).

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is providing a financial allowance of Rs. 15,000 per year to women belonging to upper caste communities. The allowance will be provided for a period of three years, for a total of Rs. 45,000.
EBC Nestham Eligibility: Family and Income Criteria
Family Definition: For this scheme, family only includes your father, mother, and dependent children.
Income:
- Rural areas: Total family income must be less than ₹10,000 per month.
- Urban areas: Total family income must be less than ₹12,000 per month.
Land Ownership:
- Wet land: Less than 3.00 acres.
- Dry land: Less than 10 acres.
- Total land: Less than 10 acres combined.
Exclusions:
- Government employees/pensioners: No family member can be a government employee or pensioner (except sanitary workers).
- Four-wheeler ownership: Family cannot own a four-wheeler (except taxis, tractors, and autos).
- Income tax: No family member can be an income tax payer.
- Municipal property (applicable in municipal areas): Family property must be less than 750 sq. feet built-up area (residential or commercial).
Age: Applicant must be between 45 and 60 years old as of the scheme’s government order date.
