Jaganannaku Chebudam is a new scheme launched by the Andhra Pradesh government on May 9, 2023. It is an upgraded version of Spandana, which was a grievance redressal mechanism for the people. Jaganannaku Chebudam is different from Spandana in many ways.
It is not just a platform to complain, but also a way to connect with the Chief Minister and his office directly. It is also a way to get information about various government schemes and benefits that you can avail.
How does Jaganannaku Chebudam work?
It is very simple. You just have to dial 1902 from your phone and you will be connected to a call center executive who will listen to your problem or query.
You can also send a message or a voice note to 1902 through WhatsApp or Telegram. The executive will register your complaint or request and give you a reference number.
You can track the status of your complaint or request through SMS or IVRS. You will also get regular updates and feedback from the government officials who are working on your issue.
Restrictions on Grievances for Certain Schemes
Grievances related to the six-step eligibility, age, and gender are the only ones that can be raised for the schemes Rice Card, YSR Arogyasri, House sites, and Pension Kanuka.
Any other grievances, such as “not receiving a Rice card” or “not being issued a House site,” will be considered non-scheme grievances and, therefore, will not be included in the NBM Spandana Grievance dashboard for redressal.
