Eligibility
- Resident: The applicant must be a resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- Age: The applicant must be above 18 years of age.
- Monthly income: The applicant’s monthly income must be less than ₹10,000/- in rural areas and less than ₹12,000/- in urban areas.
- Landholding: The total landholding of the applicant’s family must be less than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of both wet and dry land together.
Jagananna Thodu Eligibility Criteria: Shop Size, Business, and Transportation
- Business: The applicant must be engaged in petty trading activities, such as selling goods on carts, footpaths, or in public and private places.
- Transportation: The applicant must be carrying goods on their heads in the Gampa, or trading on bicycles, motorcycles, or autos from one place to another.
- Shop size: The applicant have set up permanent or temporary shops in a space of about 5 feet in length, 5 feet in width and less.
Documents Required
- Domicile/Residential Certificate of the state of Andhra Pradesh: This is to prove that you are a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- Proof of Identity: This could be your Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or any other government-issued ID card.
- Income Certificate: This is to prove that your monthly income is less than ₹10,000/- in rural areas and less than ₹12,000/- in urban areas.
- Rice Card: This is to prove that you are below the poverty line.
- Proof of Land Holding (if applicable): If you own any land, you will need to provide proof of ownership.
- Business Location Details (Fixed or Wandering): You will need to provide details of your business location, such as the address and whether it is fixed or wandering.
How to apply Jagananna Thodu
Step 1: Approach Your Village/Ward Secretary
The first step to applying for a Rs. 10,000 loan is to approach your village/ward secretary. They will help you gather the necessary documents and submit your application to the WEAs / WWDS.
Step 2: Submit Your Application to the WEAs / WWDS
Once your application has been submitted to the WEAs / WWDS, it will be processed by the Ward/Villages Secretariat. If your application is approved, it will be sent to the banks for further processing.
Step 3: Receive Your Loan
If your loan is approved by the banks, the loan amount will be directly transferred to your bank account. The maximum loan amount that you can avail is Rs. 10,000.
Interest payments on the loan will be reimbursed to the beneficiary’s account by the Andhra Pradesh government.
