Anumula Revanth Reddy, the current president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), was born on November 8, 1969, in Kodangal village, Warangal district, Telangana. He belongs to a farming family. His father, the late Anumula Narsimha Reddy, and mother, Anumula Ramachandram, were farmers.
Revanth Reddy showed an interest in politics from a young age. While studying for his graduation, he was the president of the All India Students’ Federation (AISF). After graduating from A.V. College of the University of Osmania, he married Geeta, the granddaughter of Jayapal Reddy, a prominent Congress leader. He then joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and entered full-time politics.

Political Career
2003: Reddy joins the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party.
2006: Reddy is elected as an independent candidate to the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC).
2007: Reddy is elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council as an independent candidate.
2008: Reddy joins the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
