1. About Kaushalam
Kaushalam is a transformational employability and career development initiative by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It enables youth across the State to become job-ready through verified assessments, personalized learning, and access to skill-based employment opportunities in IT, ITES, GCCs, and other sectors.
The platform ensures that candidates are evaluated fairly and employers receive trusted, pre-verified skill data. Kaushalam aims to create a transparent, merit-driven employment ecosystem for the State’s graduates.
2. Registration Process
To register on the platform, follow these steps:
- Visit the portal at https://www.kaushalam.ap.gov.in
- Click Register → For Graduates.
- Enter your Aadhaar number (Note: It must be already submitted in the GSWS Kaushalam Survey).
- Verify your Aadhaar-linked email and mobile number.
- Create a strong password.
- Complete email verification.
- Complete KYC verification through OTP.
- After successful verification, your dashboard will display Verified under Employment & Verification status.
3. Dashboard Overview
Upon your first login, you will land on the candidate dashboard. This is your central hub for:
- Viewing job opportunities
- Accessing assessments
- Tracking career progression
- Downloading your resume
- Monitoring leaderboard points
4. Readiness Survey
You must complete the Readiness Survey immediately upon login. It captures:
- Willingness to work immediately
- Urgency level
- Job preferences
There are no right or wrong answers, but this is essential for accurate prioritization by employers.
5. Building Your Profile
A complete profile increases your chances of receiving relevant job recommendations. Ensure you fill in detailed, accurate information without abbreviations.
Key Profile Sections:
- Basic Information
- Education Details
- Professional Experience
- Certifications
- Projects
Important: Update your profile at least 48 hours before your scheduled assessment. After this window, the profile is locked. Your resume is automatically generated from these details.
6. Kaushalam Assessments
Every candidate must complete two proctored assessments.
A. Skill Assessment
Duration: 45 minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Verbal & Logical Reasoning
- Data Interpretation
- Psychometric Evaluation
- Personalized Technical Questions
B. Communication Skill
Duration: 15 minutes
- 3 Questions total
- Speak for 30 seconds each
- Evaluated using CEFR standards
7. Rules & System Readiness
Proctoring Guidelines
Before starting, you must allow access to your Camera, Microphone, and Location.
- Assessments must be taken at your assigned center.
- Only your face must be visible (no other faces).
- Do not switch tabs. Switching tabs 3 times results in automatic termination.
- Full-screen mode is mandatory.
Technical Requirements
- Stable Internet (Min 3 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload).
- Updated Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Functional Webcam, Microphone, and Speakers.
- Quiet, well-lit location.
9. "I'm Placed" Feature
Secured a job? Follow these steps to stop assessments:
- Go to Dashboard → Click Mark My Employment Status.
- Fill in Company name, Designation, and Joining Date.
- Upload your Offer Letter (PDF).
- Submit.
Note: Your status updates to "Placed" and is locked for 30 days.
10. Leaderboard & Progress
Kaushalam uses gamification to encourage consistency.
You can view your rank, streak, and detailed history on the dashboard. A shareable certificate is available for LinkedIn.
11. Safety & Fraud Prevention

AP 'కౌశలం' (Kaushalam) పరీక్షల అప్డేట్ & తాజా వివరాలు
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం Work From Home ఉద్యోగాల కోసం నిర్వహిస్తున్న 'కౌశలం' స్కిల్ టెస్ట్ పరీక్షల లేటెస్ట్ న్యూస్ (Dec 2025).
📢 పరీక్షల స్టేటస్ & రీ-షెడ్యూల్
పరీక్షలు డిసెంబర్ 2 నుండి ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. అయితే టెక్నికల్ సమస్యల కారణంగా తాజా మార్పులు:
- సమస్యలు: Dec 2, 3, 4 తేదీల్లో ఎవరికైతే టెక్నికల్ సమస్యలు (Server Error) వచ్చాయో, వారికి మళ్ళీ అవకాశం ఉంది.
- రీ-షెడ్యూల్ గడువు: అటువంటి అభ్యర్థులు డిసెంబర్ 20, 2025 లోపు ఎప్పుడైనా పరీక్షను రీ-షెడ్యూల్ (Reschedule) చేసుకుని రాయవచ్చు.
- స్లాట్లు: ప్రస్తుతం రోజుకు రెండు స్లాట్లు (11 AM & 3 PM) అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి.
- నిబంధన: ఒక్కో స్లాట్లో సచివాలయంలో కేవలం ఇద్దరు (2) మాత్రమే పరీక్ష రాయాలి.
- SMS అలర్ట్: స్లాట్ బుక్ అయిన వారికి మాత్రమే మొబైల్ కి SMS వస్తుంది.
1. కౌశలం (Kaushalam) అంటే ఏమిటి?
ఇది ఏపీ ఐటీ శాఖ (Dept of IT) ఆధ్వర్యంలో నడుస్తున్న కార్యక్రమం. డిగ్రీ లేదా ఆపై చదువుకున్న యువతకు స్కిల్స్ నేర్పించి, 'Work From Home' మరియు ఇతర ఐటీ ఉద్యోగాలకు సిద్ధం (Job-Ready) చేయడమే దీని లక్ష్యం.
2. రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ విధానం (Step-by-Step)
- వెబ్సైట్: kaushalam.ap.gov.in ఓపెన్ చేయండి.
- రిజిస్టర్: "Register → For Graduates" ఆప్షన్ ఎంచుకోండి.
- ఆధార్: మీ ఆధార్ నంబర్ ఎంటర్ చేసి OTP ద్వారా వెరిఫై చేసుకోండి.
- సర్వే: లాగిన్ అయ్యాక తప్పనిసరిగా "Readiness Survey" (నేను జాబ్ చేయడానికి సిద్ధం) పూర్తి చేయాలి. ఇది చేస్తేనే స్లాట్ బుకింగ్ ఓపెన్ అవుతుంది.
3. పరీక్ష విధానం (Exam Pattern)
మీ స్లాట్ బుక్ అయ్యాక, కేటాయించిన సచివాలయానికి వెళ్లి పరీక్ష రాయాలి. ఎగ్జామ్ వ్యవధి మొత్తం 60 నిమిషాలు.
ఆప్టిట్యూడ్ (Aptitude), రీజనింగ్, డేటా ఇంటర్ప్రిటేషన్ మరియు బేసిక్ కంప్యూటర్ నాలెడ్జ్.
ఇంగ్లీష్ మాట్లాడే సామర్థ్యం (Speaking Skills). స్క్రీన్ పై వచ్చే ప్రశ్నకు మైక్ లో ఇంగ్లీష్ లో సమాధానం చెప్పాలి.
4. కఠిన నిబంధనలు (Do's & Don'ts)
- పరీక్ష కేవలం సచివాలయంలోనే రాయాలి (Home Exam Not Allowed).
- సచివాలయం వారు ఇచ్చే హెడ్సెట్ & వెబ్క్యామ్ మాత్రమే వాడాలి.
- పరీక్ష మధ్యలో స్క్రీన్ లేదా ట్యాబ్ మార్చకూడదు (Tab Switching is prohibited).
- కెమెరాలో మీ ముఖం స్పష్టంగా కనిపించాలి, మాస్క్ ఉండకూడదు.
