In Andhra Pradesh, you can get a death certificate from the local municipal corporation or panchayat office. You will need to submit the following documents to get a death certificate:
- Death registration form.
- A copy of the deceased’s Aadhaar card or voter ID card.
- Death certificate issued by the hospital or doctor.
- A copy of the postmortem report (if applicable).
In Andhra Pradesh, the death of a person must be registered within one year of the date of death. However, there are cases where the death is not registered within one year. This is known as late registration of death.
