first category:
volunteers who have served for more than a year without any complaints will be honoured with the “sevamitra” award and a cash prize of 10,000/- each along with a certificate, shawl and a badge.
second category:
those who have performed well in programmes such as door-to-door survey, disbursement of pensions, doorstep delivery, pension card, rice card, arogyasri cards, etc., will be honoured with the “sevaratna” award with the “sevaratna” award of five people each in each mandal, five in each municipality and ten volunteers in each municipal corporation. a cash prize of 20,000/- will be presented along with a silver medal, certificate, shawl and badge.
the third category:
875 volunteers will be selected for the assembly constituency and honoured with the “seva vajra” award by selecting 875 volunteers who have shown their best through the services of the people of the 50 families assigned to them. a cash prize of 30,000/- each will be given along with a gold medal, certificate, shawl and badge, the officials said.
